179 Seacoast Power Equipment owner Bob Milliken is the consummate do-it-yourselfer and has been an avid owner and user of power equipment his entire adult life. As a former oil company executive with an MBA in Finance, Bob purchased the former Philbrick's Sales and Service in early 2009 along with his wife, Laura, with the idea of transferring his consumer knowledge and experience to best serve the power equipment needs of New England area consumer and commercial customers. He works side-by-side with his skilled team of employees to make the purchase or service of power equipment the most positive customer experience it can be, and to deliver the finest products, timeliest service and most competitive pricing possible.
Laura works with the 179 Seacoast Power administration team, heads up our warranty department, and assists in meeting and greeting our customers. She is a proud mother of two (Ashley, 16, and Robert, 13) and actively involved in her local community and schools. A former radiologic technologist, Laura holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services Administration.
With 25 years of accounting experience, Ginny has spent the past 13 years managing the accounting department at what is now 179 Seacoast Power Equipment. With previous experience in the property management and development field, Ginny has a BS in Accounting in Finance and a certificate in IT Network Administration.
Callie is our Official Greeter. We rescued her as a pup from the SPCA and she is now two years old. For those interested in what breed she is her DNA test revealed that she is a friendly mix of Bassett Hound, Italian Greyhound, Rhodesian Ridge Back, Chow Chow, Great Dane and Poodle with a little mix of Border Collie. Most of all she has a huge heart and loves all customers, and delivery drivers (especially with treats in their pockets).
With 60+ years of combined experience and expertise, our service techs hold a variety of branded manufacturer certifications as well as EETC (Equipment and Engine Training Council) Outdoor Power Equipment Technician Certification.
